This program is specially prepared  to introduce basic science concepts to the Kindergarten 1 and 2. The concepts are presented in an easy-to-understand approach with a variety of interesting activities that will keep the children motivated in wanting to learn more. Skills are important part of learning science.


The following is a list of basic science process skills : 

  • ·         Observation – This is skill where learners gather different information and clues using their senses.


  • ·         Space – Time Relationship This relates to the study of shapes, distances, directions, motions, speeds and rates of change.


  • ·         Classification – Students will learn to classify objects and phenomena through identifying similarities and differences, after making a series of related observations.


  • ·         Measurement – In basic science, measurement is done using strings, rulers, cups, thermometers. Measurement and estimation skills are vital in the learning of science.


  • ·         Communication – Learners will be taught to record and explain scientific findings of evidence using spoken or written word, drawings, graphs


  • ·         Prediction — Learners should be  able to make ‘intelligent guesses’ or predictions’ based on their observations or investigations;


  • ·         Interferences — The skill of inferences involves a subjective explanation of one’s observations to reach an opinion based on available information or evidence.IMG_3259[1]
